CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS OF THE 2022 ARIZONA STUDENT FILM FESTIVAL!
Thank you to all of the filmmakers, friends and family who came out to the Arizona Student Film Festival screening at the 2022 Phoenix Film Festival. We are so glad that our filmmakers and their families had a chance to see these films on the big screen!
GRAND PRIZE WINNER:
Black Chrome by Nick Timpauer from East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT)
In the 1940s, Ace Detective of Justice, Jackie Vincent, gets his reputation stained in the papers. Not on his watch.
As the Grand Prize Winner, Nick wins a $1,000 scholarship to their school of choice.
2ND PLACE:
Half Empty by Annibelle June Washburn from Chaparral High School
A story about a teenage boy justifying his pessimistic outlook on life, while ignoring the good surrounding him.
3RD PLACE:
Life with the Patels by Sejal Patel from Xavier College Preparatory
A comedic short about my family involving a loud Jeep, math troubles, and a fast food fiasco.
