CONGRATULATIONS TO THE WINNERS OF THE 2020 ARIZONA STUDENT FILM FESTIVAL!

Thank you to all of the filmmakers, friends and family who came out to the Arizona Student Film Festival screening at the 2020 Phoenix Film Festival. We are so glad that our filmmakers and their families had a chance to see these films on the big screen!

GRAND PRIZE WINNER:

A Writer's Vision by Titus Ruemler

A young struggling writer attempts to sift through different ideas to find the perfect story.

For his work, Titus wins a $1,000 scholarship to the school of his choice. 

2nd PLACE HIGH SCHOOL:

Mercy by Isa Soriano from Xavier College Preparatory

As the teenage daughter of Death, Mercy handles all the souls when they meet their tragic demise. But when she meets the soul of April Moore, she realizes that this soul is worth saving.


3RD PLACE HIGH SCHOOL

Gone by Logan Logg from Brophy College Preparatory

Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women is a reality young women in present society live with. I hope for this platform to inform viewers about this huge epidemic occurring in the United States and Canada.

Every person in the world has a twin. One is evil and one is good. Ari Smith lost her twin at birth and the government makes a guess and labels her as the evil twin. Ari is send to a delinquent school and is kept there. But, is she really the evil twin?
